Air India Charters Ltd has just today issued recruitment notification 2012 for Captain, Trainee Captain, Check-Pilot, Co-Pilot, Examiner & Instructors for Open Category as well as for Reserved Categories. As per the notification, while the last date of form submission is 15th May, 2012 for Open Category, the last date for Reserved Categories is 30th April.

Air India Charters Limited (AICL), a subsidiary of Air India is an Indian PSU. Headquartered in Mumbai, it operates low cost carrier Air India Express from India to the Gulf and Southeast Asia. AICL operates flights from Kerala, Punjab and Mangalore to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Muscat and Salalah in the Middle East and Singapore in the east.

Air India Salary:
Air India Salary for Instructor / Examiner: RS. 5.00/= lakhs p.m.
Air India Salary for Check Pilot: RS. 4.75/= lakhs p.m.
Air India Salary for Captain: RS. 4.50/= lakhs pm
Air India Salary for Trainee Captain: RS. 2.50/= lakhs pm
Air India Salary for Co-Pilot: RS. 2.00/= lakhs pm.
Air India Eligibility:
Technical Qualification Eligibility: Candidates should be in possession of :
1.0 CPL / ATPL issued by Director General of Civil Aviation, Government of India.
2.0 Instrument Rating endorsement on Indian CPL/ATPL.
3.0 FRTO license issued by DGCA.
4.0 RTR (P) / RTR (C) / RTR issued by Ministry of Communication, WPC Wing, Government of India.
5.0 All licenses shall be valid at the time of joining.
6.0 Current passport (if not available, proof of submission of application to be attached. Possession of passport mandatory at time of joining).
Flying Experience Eligibility:
Captain: PIC on B737NG
Trainee Captain: With type endorsement on B737NG : 2000 hrs on type and holding valid ATPL. OR
With PIC flying experience in jet engine aircraft with AUW greater than 50,000 kgs and holding valid ATPL. OR
With PIC flying experience of 2500 hrs on Jet / Turboprop engine aircraft of airline type like ATR / CRJ / Bombardier / Embracer, holding ATPL and with airline experience.
Co-Pilot: With type endorsement on B737NG and holding valid CPL / ATPL.

Selection Procedure:
a) An Interview and Simulator Flight Proficiency Test (all at Mumbai).
b) Candidates short-listed after Personal Interview will be required to undergo a Simulator Flight Proficiency Test.
c) Company may introduce a Psychometric Test for a particular category, as part of the Selection Process.
d) After completion of the selection process, successful candidates shortlisted for induction as per vacancies, shall be informed accordingly.
e) Short-listed candidates will have to undergo Company Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME); their induction will be subject to being found FIT in the PEME.
