Eligibility for OSSC JE Recruitment 2014:
Age Eligibility: (as on 01-01-2014)
Minimum: 21 years, Maximum: 32 years.
DOB not earlier than 2nd January, 1982 and not later than lst January 1993.
Age relaxations exists for reserved categories.
Educational Qualification Eligibility:
1.0 Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent. This qualification should be from the Institution recognized by the Odisha State Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training.
2.0 The applicant must have Odia as one of the subjects in the HSC or passed examination in Odia equivalent to M.E. standard or passed in Odia as language subject in final examination of Class-VII or passed a test in Odia in M.E. School Standard conducted by Education Department Govt. of Odisha on the date of the Application.
Selection Process:
Selection Process for these OSSC JE jobs consists of total 200 marks - 100 marks for the OSSC JE Exam (i.e. the written test) and 100 marks for academic career evaluation. The career evaluation mark consists of 40 marks for HSC (High School Certificate) scores and 60 marks for Certificate in Diploma in Engineering.
